Information Learn everything about me

I'm a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the University of Verona, Italy. I'm working in the VIPS lab under the supervision of Marco Cristani.
Also I'm working with the research team of Laboratory for Applied Ontology (ISTC-CNR), Trento-Italy. Here I'm working within the project VISCOSO under the supervision of Roberta Ferrario.

My main research interests are in social signal processing and crowd behavior analysis that are new research fields spreading a lot in the last few years, involving several disciplines such as computer vision, psychology, sociology, cognitive science and many others. In particular, my focus is on a particular category of crowd: the spectator crowd, which is formed by people “interested in watching something specific that they came to see”. Analyzing people at the stadium addresses different computer vision tasks, some of them are classic (people detection, head pose estimation), while other are brand new (as the spectator categorization). We will develop new methodologies including a framework in which Computer Vision and Ontology collaborate in order to analyze the spectator crowd behaviour

Since September 2015 I have been working at Télécom ParisTech (Paris, France) in collaboration with Céline Hudelot.
